Our Services

  • Regular dental cleanings and oral health exams are an essential part of everyone’s oral health. Our skilled hygienists provide comprehensive periodontal assessments and therapies that effectively eliminate biofilm and Calculus build-up which can lead to gum and bone disease if left un-treated. We utilize cutting-edge EMS Guided-Biofilm Therapy air flow technology to safely and comfortably remove the biofilm from teeth and tissues – it’s like nothing you’ve experienced!

During your visit, we thoroughly evaluate your overall dental health utilizing modern technology, intraoral scanners and 3D x-rays that allow us to detect potential problems early on. This proactive approach not only saves you time and money by addressing concerns before they escalate but also ensures you maintain a healthy smile.

In addition to cleanings, we offer personalized advice on oral hygiene practices and nutrition to further support your dental health. • Cavities can result from tooth decay, making fillings an essential component of restorative dentistry. At Hoerster Family Dentistry, we prioritize quality by using high-grade materials to craft durable and aesthetically pleasing fillings that blend seamlessly with your natural tooth color. We have the option BPA-free filling material that has a stronger ceramic component when compared to most composite white fillings.

Choosing timely fillings offers several key benefits:

Preventing Further Decay: Early intervention allows us to address cavities before they lead to more extensive damage and the need for invasive treatments down the line.

Restoring Tooth Function: Fillings restore the structure and function of your teeth, enabling you to eat and speak with confidence and comfort.

Advanced Digital Impressions: Our clinic employs cutting-edge technology to create digital impressions, giving us the option to fabricate a filling outside the mouth, and bond it in place. This process can help ensure a precise fit and enhanced patient comfort.

Trust Hoerster Family Dentistry to take care of your dental needs with expertise and a commitment to your oral health.

  • Our modern technology revolutionizes the dental experience by allowing us to create and place dental crowns or partial crowns in just a single visit. This innovative approach not only saves you valuable time but also guarantees a precise fit and aesthetic appeal tailored to your unique smile.

With same-day crowns, you can conveniently avoid the hassle of multiple appointments and the inconvenience of temporary crowns. Instead, you will receive a strong, long-lasting and natural-looking restoration in just 2 hours, giving you the confidence and functionality you deserve. Experience the future of dentistry with our advanced techniques and enjoy the benefits of efficient, high-quality care that prioritizes your needs and comfort.

  • If you're experiencing severe tooth pain or signs of infection, a root canal may be essential to save your tooth and alleviate discomfort. This procedure is designed to remove the inflamed or infected pulp inside the tooth, effectively eliminating the source of pain and preventing further complications.

By preserving the tooth’s structure and function, root canal therapy allows you to maintain your natural smile and avoid the need for extraction. Root canal therapy is a safe and effective solution that typically involves several steps. First, our team will perform a thorough examination and take necessary imaging to assess the extent of the infection. Once we have a clear understanding of your situation, we will ensure your comfort with local anesthesia before proceeding with the treatment.

During the procedure, we will carefully remove the inflamed or infected pulp and clean the interior of the tooth to eliminate any remaining bacteria. After that, the tooth will be sealed to prevent further infection. In many cases, a crown or partial crown may be recommended afterwards to restore the tooth's strength and functionality.

At Hoerster Family Dentistry, your comfort is our top priority. We strive to create a welcoming, calm and serene environment where you feel at ease throughout the entire process. Our experienced team is dedicated to ensuring a smooth and effective treatment, helping you return to your daily activities with less pain and improved oral health.

Don’t let tooth pain disrupt your life. If you suspect you may need a root canal, contact Hoerster Family Dentistry today to schedule a consultation. Let us help you preserve your smile and enjoy a pain-free future!

  • At Hoerster Family Dentistry, we offer clear aligner therapy for a variety of reasons. Most patients who are interested in straightening their teeth discreetly and effectively will choose clear aligners and we also recommend clear aligner therapy prior to other more involved restorative procedures. By moving the teeth into a more functional and optimal position, we can reduce the number of teeth we need to treat with aesthetic treatments like veneers. It can also be the treatment of choice for mild to severe wear cases where tooth structure has been lost due to years with an improper and harmful bite.

Our clear aligners are nearly invisible, very comfortable, and removable, providing you the convenience of maintaining your oral hygiene and eating habits without any hassle. This modern approach ensures you get the straight teeth you've always desired in the most seamless and inconspicuous manner.

  • If you’re missing one or more teeth, dental bridges can be an effective solution to restore your smile and improve your oral function. A dental bridge is a prosthetic device designed to fill the gap left by missing teeth, using adjacent teeth or dental implants as anchors for support.

Bridges are not only essential for aesthetic reasons; they play a significant role in maintaining the alignment of your teeth and preserving your facial structure. When a tooth is lost, the surrounding teeth may shift into the empty space over time, leading to bite misalignment and further dental issues. A bridge helps prevent this shifting, ensuring your bite remains stable and functional.

    Benefits of Dental Bridges:

Restoration of Function: Missing teeth can hinder your ability to chew and speak properly. Dental bridges restore this function, allowing you to enjoy a varied diet without discomfort and speak clearly.

Improved Aesthetics: Bridges are custom-made to match the color, shape, and size of your natural teeth, providing a seamless look. This restoration can significantly enhance your smile, contributing to increased self-confidence and a more youthful appearance.

Support for Facial Structure: Missing teeth can lead to bone loss and changes in your facial structure. By filling in these gaps, dental bridges help maintain the natural shape of your face and prevent further bone deterioration.

Durability and Longevity: With proper care, dental bridges can last for many years, making them a cost-effective option for tooth restoration. Our team at Hoerster Family Dentistry uses high-quality materials to ensure your bridge is both strong and aesthetically pleasing.

Comfort: Designed to fit securely and comfortably, dental bridges minimize discomfort and allow you to eat, speak, and smile without worrying about your restoration.

At Hoerster Family Dentistry, we prioritize personalized care, ensuring that each dental bridge is custom-crafted to meet your unique needs. Schedule an appointment today to learn more about how dental bridges can restore your smile.

  • Preventive care is essential for maintaining optimal oral health and preventing more serious dental issues. At Hoerster Family Dentistry, we prioritize regular oral health exams and professional cleanings to ensure your smile remains healthy.

During our routine oral exams, our experienced team conducts thorough examinations of your teeth and gums, using advanced diagnostic tools to identify early signs of decay and gum disease. This proactive approach helps you avoid more invasive treatments and saves you time and money.

Professional cleanings are crucial for removing plaque and tartar buildup that regular brushing can't eliminate. Our skilled hygienists provide detailed cleanings to prevent cavities and gum disease, helping you maintain a bright, healthy smile. We use advanced Swiss technology from EMS called Guided Biofilm Therapy to safely and comfortably remove the biofilm on your teeth and tissues that is responsible for gum disease, bone disease, and cavities.

We also emphasize patient education, offering tailored recommendations to support your oral health goals. By focusing on preventive care, you can benefit from early detection of dental issues, improved oral health, and long-term cost savings.

Restorative care is vital for restoring the function and appearance of your smile after dental issues arise. At Hoerster Family Dentistry, we offer a comprehensive range of restorative treatments designed to address various dental concerns, ensuring that your smile remains healthy and beautiful.

    Our restorative services include:

Dental Crowns: Used to cover and protect damaged or decayed teeth, crowns restore both function and aesthetics. Made from strong, long-lasting materials, they blend seamlessly with your natural teeth and can last many years with proper care.

Partial Crowns or Onlay: When a more conservative approach to a crown can be utilized, these restorations preserve as much natural tooth structure as possible and can still be delivered with our same-day crown technology. They provide a conservative, yet strong and functional solution to teeth that have compromised structure.

Dental Bridges: Ideal for replacing one or more missing teeth, dental bridges fill gaps with natural-looking prosthetics anchored by your existing teeth or implants. Bridges enhance your ability to chew and speak while improving your overall appearance.

Partial or Full mouth restorations to treat extensive wear damage and reestablish strength and function to a patient’s bite.

At Hoerster Family Dentistry, we utilize cutting-edge technology, including digital impressions, to enhance your restorative experience. Our team focuses on understanding your oral health goals, providing personalized care tailored to your unique needs. When possible, these treatments can be completed in our office while you wait!

Whether you need a simple filling or a more complex restoration, our commitment to excellence ensures that your dental experience is both comfortable and satisfying. Schedule an appointment today to discover how we can help restore your smile!

  • Our custom-made porcelain veneers are expertly designed to transform your smile by effectively covering imperfections such as chips, gaps, and discoloration. These thin shells are meticulously bonded to the front surface of your teeth, resulting in a natural-looking and radiant smile that can last for many years.

Porcelain veneers are an excellent choice for those seeking a quick and impactful transformation. They offer a dramatic enhancement in appearance, significantly boosting self-esteem with minimal discomfort. The process typically begins with a consultation, where your dental professional assesses your needs and discusses your desired outcomes.

In addition to enhancing the aesthetics of your smile, veneers contribute to overall facial harmony, as a well-aligned and luminous smile positively influences facial proportions. Furthermore, porcelain is stain-resistant and durable, ensuring that your veneers maintain their beauty over time with proper care.

Investing in porcelain veneers isn't just about improving your appearance; it's about embracing the confidence that comes from having a smile you can be proud of. If you're seeking a long-lasting solution to enhance your smile and overall facial aesthetics, porcelain veneers may be the perfect choice for you.

  • At Hoerster Family Dentistry, we offer neuromodulator treatments, including Botox, to help you achieve a more youthful and refreshed appearance. This non-surgical option is designed to minimize the visibility of fine lines and wrinkles, enhancing your facial features without invasive procedures. Neuromodulators work by temporarily relaxing the muscles responsible for expression lines, resulting in a smoother and rejuvenated complexion. We focus on providing natural-looking results that enhance your beauty while meeting your specific needs.

In addition to their aesthetic benefits, neuromodulators can also have therapeutic applications, such as alleviating symptoms of bruxism (teeth grinding) and reducing headaches.

If you’re ready to explore how neuromodulator treatments can complement your smile and boost your confidence, schedule a consultation at Hoerster Family Dentistry today!

  • At Hoerster Family Dentistry, we’re committed to offering treatments that enhance your smile with precision and care. Composite bonding is a popular, minimally invasive cosmetic procedure that addresses small imperfections such as chips, cracks, gaps, or discoloration. Using a composite resin material custom-matched to your tooth color, Dr. Hoerster has obtained training to expertly shape and bond the resin to the tooth’s surface, creating a seamless, natural-looking finish. Composite Veneers can be a less expensive option vs. porcelain veneers and usually require regular maintenance and polishing to keep them looking bright and shiny.

Why Choose Composite Bonding? Composite bonding is an ideal choice for those looking for a cost-effective, gentle solution to enhance cosmetic concerns. In most cases it requires no enamel removal, offering a quick and comfortable treatment with no downtime. For those seeking a stronger, more permanent smile makeover, we also offer porcelain veneers, providing long-lasting, custom coverage for multiple teeth.

Explore composite bonding at Hoerster Family Dentistry and discover how this effective, minimally invasive procedure can elevate your smile. Schedule a consultation today to learn more about our cosmetic options, including veneers and other treatments tailored to suit your needs.

  • At Hoerster Family Dentistry, we are dedicated to providing a complete level of care to ensure your oral health is not only maintained but optimized for long-term wellness. Our Comprehensive Exam is designed to give you a thorough evaluation of your entire oral health, going beyond a routine check-up to address both preventive and cosmetic needs.

During your comprehensive exam, we carefully assess the health of your teeth, gums, jaw joints, and bite, looking for any potential signs of dental issues. Our team uses advanced technology, including digital X-rays, to examine areas that are not visible to the naked eye. This detailed evaluation helps us identify early signs of decay, gum disease, bite misalignment, or other underlying conditions before they become more serious problems.

What’s Included in a Comprehensive Exam?

Thorough Evaluation: Our dentists conduct an in-depth assessment of your teeth, gums, and bite to spot any issues, from cavities and gum disease to tooth wear or misalignment.

Digital X-rays: We utilize the latest digital X-ray technology to get a detailed look at the health of your teeth, roots, and jawbone. This helps us identify hidden concerns like cavities between teeth or bone loss early on.

Oral Cancer Screening: As part of your exam, we screen for any signs of oral cancer, ensuring early detection for better outcomes.

Gum Health Assessment: We evaluate the condition of your gums, checking for gum disease or any signs of inflammation that could lead to more severe issues.

Bite and Jaw Joint Evaluation: We look for signs of bite misalignment or issues with the temporomandibular joint (TMJ), which can lead to discomfort or other dental problems.

Personalized Treatment Recommendations: Based on the findings, we discuss a tailored treatment plan that can include preventive care, cosmetic enhancements, restorative treatments, or lifestyle adjustments to protect and improve your smile.

We believe in a proactive approach to dental health, which means we focus on both treating current issues and preventing future ones. Whether you need routine care, a cosmetic upgrade, or restorative treatment, our comprehensive exam ensures that every aspect of your oral health is addressed.

Our team is here to guide you every step of the way, offering a full range of treatment options tailored to your needs.

  • At Hoerster Family Dentistry, we offer Red Light Therapy, a non-invasive treatment that promotes healing, muscle recovery and skin tightening. Using low-level red light, this therapy stimulates cellular activity, helping to reduce inflammation, speed up recovery, and enhance facial skin smoothness.

    Benefits of Red Light Therapy:

Faster Recovery: Speeds up healing after dental procedures.

Pain Relief: Reduces discomfort and inflammation after long procedures, or pain from clenching/grinding

Skin Tightening: reduction of fine lines and wrinkles

Non-Invasive & Safe: A painless treatment with no downtime.

How It Works: Red Light Therapy uses specific wavelengths of light to stimulate circulation and promote the body’s natural healing process. Sessions typically last 10-20 minutes and can be done right in our office with no recovery time.

Whether you're recovering from a procedure, treating jaw soreness or looking to improve the overall appearance of your skin, Red Light Therapy is a gentle and effective solution.

  • At Hoerster Family Dentistry, we provide safe and gentle tooth extractions to help resolve dental issues that can’t be treated with other procedures. Whether due to severe decay, infection, or overcrowding, our experienced team ensures that the extraction process is as comfortable as possible.

Why You Might Need a Tooth Extraction:

Severe Decay or Damage: When a tooth is too damaged to be restored with a filling, crown, or other treatment.

Gum Disease: In cases where a tooth has become infected due to advanced gum disease.

Overcrowding: To make space for other treatments, like braces or dental implants.

    What to Expect:

Dr. Hoerster uses a gentle approach to perform extractions with minimal discomfort. Before the procedure, we'll ensure you're fully numbed, and if necessary, we can offer sedation options for added comfort. Afterward, we provide detailed aftercare instructions to ensure a smooth recovery. We also provide the option for preserving the bone after an extraction to improve future success of a dental implant.

Tooth extraction is often the first step in addressing larger dental health concerns, such as the need for implants, dentures, or other restorations. We’re here to guide you through every step, offering compassionate care to help you restore your smile.

  • Dr. Hoerster offers both nitrous oxide (laughing gas) and oral sedation (Triazolam) to allow patients the option for more comfortable care if they need. Nitrous oxide is particularly helpful with children to help them relax and often means we can avoid local anesthetic for minimally invasive fillings. Oral sedation is a safe, effective option for adults who require a little bit of help relaxing in the dental chair… although we feel our clinic space and gentle team will help with that as well.
